Human Resources Generalist
Description We are looking for a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Waco, Texas. In this role, you will oversee a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and labor laws. This position offers an exciting opportunity to foster a positive workplace culture and support the employee lifecycle through effective HR practices. Responsibilities: • Manage recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions. • Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization. • Address employee concerns and foster positive relationships to enhance engagement and satisfaction. • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. • Develop and deliver training sessions to support employee development and organizational growth. • Implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards. • Oversee performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback mechanisms. • Utilize HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, to manage employee data and streamline HR operations. • Conduct background checks and ensure pre-employment requirements are met. • Drive initiatives to promote employee engagement and strengthen workplace culture. Requirements • Proven experience in human resources administration and generalist roles. • Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, for managing employee records. • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, onboarding practices, and employee relations. • Ability to conduct background checks and ensure compliance with hiring protocols. • Expertise in administering benefits programs and ensuring regulatory compliance. • Experience in delivering training programs and supporting employee development. • Solid understanding of labor laws and HR policy implementation. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive employee relations. • Bilingual in Spanish would be an added plus.
