All positions start at an above market pay rate for that position. Benefits are also above market and include the below for all fulltime employees:

Job purpose
The BorgWarner Arden campus offers two world class technical centers and a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that designs and produces turbos, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
This position will be responsible for all Human Resource elements for the hourly and salary employees with their area of focus. These elements include but are not limited to recruitment and on-boarding, employee relations, benefits, and compensation.
Key responsibilities
+ Establish and promote a culture consistent with the BorgWarner beliefs and values including inclusion, integrity, excellence, responsibility, and community.
+ Applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in recruitment, employee and/or labor relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and training in their area of focus.
+ Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and their dissemination through communications or meetings.
+ Responsible for the recruiting efforts to attract the best talent for all positions within their area of focus, as well as world class onboarding to increase retention and inclusion.
+ Assist with identifying organizational development needs, implementing effective solutions, and building effective teams.
+ Responsible for promoting positive employee relations and supporting managers to build highly effective teams.
+ Conducting exit interviews for all positions in their area of focus and implementation of any needed countermeasures.
+ Continuous improvement and streamlining of processes to increase departmental efficiencies.
+ Perform other duties as needed.
What we’re looking for
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field
+ 4+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist position in a fast-paced diversified manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
+ Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources, including a thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
+ The ability to build strong relationships and establish strong interpersonal connections at all levels of the organization
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS
+ Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
+ To be an enthusiastic, performance-driving individual who will pursue excellence in translating the employer brand passion, vision/mission of the organization into operational, quantitative Human Resources plans, goals, and schedules for improvement.
+ The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when managing sensitive employee information.
+ The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
+ Attendance on the job is essential.
+ Must be able to work in a team environment.
+ Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.

Safety
This position will adhere to the BorgWarner Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their Team Lead immediately.
