Human Resources Director
Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to join our team in Westwood. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to oversee and enhance HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and corporate policy management. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to managing HR operations across our organization. This is a stand-alone role for an organization that has roughly 50 employees and this firm offers hybrid flexibility (one day remote). Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and Bamboo is preferred. Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate searches, and new employee onboarding. • Develop and maintain comprehensive onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure seamless employee transitions. • Serve as the primary administrator for BambooHR, managing employee data and HRIS systems. • Draft, update, and enforce corporate policies such as Employee Handbooks, Codes of Ethics, and IT Privacy Policies. • Process semi-monthly payroll, expense reports, and annual bonuses while ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Oversee and coordinate the semi-annual employee performance review process, providing guidance to managers and employees. • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, insurance, 401(k), and other HR-related matters. • Prepare and manage annual HR budgets and conduct Workers' Compensation Insurance audits for all employees. • Foster employee engagement through surveys, team-building activities, and other initiatives. • Act as recording secretary for Board of Directors meetings and handle special projects as required. Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources with a proven track record in HR management. • Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, BambooHR, and other HRIS platforms. • Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processing. • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, capable of working independently and taking initiative. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong accountability skills. • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and work with diverse personality types.
