The Human Resources Coordinator assists the Human Resources department by fulfilling various Human Resources functions including, Recruitment and selection, Training & Development, Remuneration, Administration and Reward & Recognition.
\n\n
What will I be doing?
\nAs the Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n· Screening of potential candidate for interviews, make recommendation for hiring, by receiving, registering and sorting all
\n· Incoming application for employment and proceed with forward action accordingly.
\n· Interview all potential candidates (grade 10,09,08) during the hiring process.
\n· Ensure minimum requirement is met before hiring a new TM – 2 reference check & background check with the Security Dept, budgeting (salary & manning) etc.
\n· Preparation for acceptance of resignation & termination of TMs.
\n· Ensure compliance to the HR audit components and exceeding yearly target.
\n· Ongoing tabulation of hotel recruitment and updates.
\n· Transfer & promotion – to ensure responses are being processed in a timely manner
\n· Posting of job advertisement in local newspaper/recruitment agencies/job board.
\n· Source new recruitment opportunities ie school, agencies, website
\n· Coordinate selected career fairs.
\n· Upkeep of Manning movement report.
\n· Resignations - Coordinate resignation (Letters of Acceptance of Resignations/finalize calculation) & ensure Exit Interview is done in a timely manner.
\n· Weekly updates of TMs resignation/transfer out.
\n· Compliance to the confidentiality of team member’s information, salary and benefits packages must be strongly adhered to.
\n· Responsible for the coordination of training administration and training preparation (materials and venue).
\n· To liaise with all departments to collate nominations for training, departmental training calendar and training reports.
\n· To assist in updating the master training attendance tracker, including training matrix and statistics on weekly basis.
\n· To conduct monthly trainee meeting and gather feedback for department heads.
\n· Develops/assists with the development of training sessions/programs to address specific departmental training needs.
\n· Actively promotes the development of a training culture by holding regular meetings with Departmental & Skills Trainers, supporting and encouraging training activities, celebrating training successes etc.
\n· Compiles monthly and quarterly Training Activities report
\n· Compiles and submits ad-hoc reports to Regional Office
\n· Develops a resource file of training providers, materials and resources for use by the Learning & Development Manager and Departmental Trainer.
\n· Coordinates traineeships and cross-training programs.
\n· Assists with the placement and program for International Industry Placement Trainees.
\n· Ensure that the Hilton Brand Service Standards is fully implemented and adhered to by all team members of the department.
\n· Participates in and supports BLUE ENERGY initiatives for Team Members
\n· Coordinates and assists in team activities on alternate months i.e. to promote a “can-do” attitude
\n· Participates in any activities not mentioned above which may enhance the competencies and productivity of the employees.
