Your Responsibilities
Support entry level full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and preparation of offer letters.Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure proper onboarding procedures are followed.Facilitate offboarding, including exit interviews, return of company assets, and HRIS termination updates.Administer employee training programs, ensuring training matrices and records are accurate and up to date.Maintain HRIS data integrity in partnership with the HR Systems team.Support with the development of content for local Employee Communication Meetings.Monitor HRIS and compliance training to ensure all mandatory requirements are completed on time, proactively following up on outstanding items.Manage communication channels, including MagNET, MagnaNOW, and communication boards.Provide administrative support for all HR programs and initiatives including employee appreciation, performance management, wellness programs and the Employee Opinion Survey.Administer employee benefits and disability programs (STD, LTD), serve as the primary contact for employees and external benefit providers.Collect and input payroll data, update HRIS for payroll integration, and liaise with Payroll Shared Services and Finance to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant bi-weekly payroll processing.Support HR and payroll audits, ensuring accurate and compliant records.Respond to general employee inquiries, provide guidance on HR policies and programs.Process, track and reconcile all HR invoices, and submit to accounts payable for processing.Provide general office administration, including but not limited to mail handling, supply/snack orders, and liaison with facilities and security.Foster strong relationships with local employees, corporate teams, CoEs, and divisional/global HR.Uphold Magna’s Code of Conduct, Ethics, and compliance policies.Perform additional duties as assigned.Who we are looking for
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in the automotive industry.Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent work experience).CHRP, or working towards, considered an asset.Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS (Workday preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.Adaptable and willing to learn and take on new tasks.In addition, we offer you the following site benefits:
