Job Title: HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Coordinator will support in all HR tasks that fall within the administrative functions of the Human Resources Business Partner role. This includes, but is not limited to assisting HRBPs all transactional processes.The HR Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the interview scheduling process within Talent Acquisition and assisting with some transactional processes, when needed.  They will also provide special project support to the Chief People Officer. This position reports to the Senior Manager, HR Business Partner and works in coordination with other HR focal point persons in the country offices as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support HRBP's Delivery on USA HRBP Priorities

Work with HR team and process owners to leverage an operational toolset using operational excellence techniques to analyze core operational areas that will be influenced by process improvement and new system infrastructure. Support P&C Department in the roll out of Global and US P&C initiatives. Provide Support on the US Department Strategic HR priorities. Responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of US Department staff during employee life cycle. Track staff employment, contracts and contract renewal processes within the set timelines.Assist with developing metric measurement and reporting tools for US Department Team discussions on key identified areas, including regional monthly reporting. Work with the HRBP to provide support to USA department's Leadership Team on HR related issues. Provide administrative support in submitting appropriate paperwork in processing. Provide support in tracking key HR Metrics for US departments and partner with departments, regions, and HRSC to ensure data integrity and compliance. Ensure organograms, contact lists and information flow lines are constantly updated and shared appropriately.

Resourcing and Supporting Talent Acquisition

Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to schedule interviews ensuring compliance to CARE recruitment processes, procedures and best practices; including distributing and collecting completed written assessments, collecting completed rate cards from interview teams. Keep abreast of reference checks and background checks for completion when needed. Review all the Requisition Forms and Job descriptions for formatting accuracy. Coordinate with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure all new positions are correctly graded through the online system. Coordinate with HR Services Center for job posting of all USA department positions.

Support Chief People Officer (CPO) and Special Projects

Support the CPO on assigned special projects and schedules Responsible for coordinating activities, phases and deliverables relating to assigned People & Culture projects. Use appropriate project management methods and experimental designs in leading tasks, provide status/progress reports and close-out of projects. Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities. Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or similar field
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in general HR management in a similar role.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
- Ability to take direction, yet work independently complete tasks on time.
- Familiarity with Employment Laws in the within the region.
- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural situations
- Proven ability to handle challenging workload
- Cross-cultural experience, understanding and sensitivity.
- Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
- Positive attitude and service oriented.Preferred Qualifications:- Internal knowledge or experience working at CARE
- PMO or HR certification
- Previous work experience with an international NGO is an advantage.
- Experience working in a regional HR position, preferred.
