As a result, a full-time position is available for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing, fast-paced human resources team. You will provide administrative and operational support across various human resource functions, while also serving as a consultant to managers on people strategies, organizational development, and employee relations. This rare and exciting opportunity is available at our Middleton, WI (greater Madison area) office location. Responsibilities include: Supporting or leading HR initiatives such as job description updates, competency frameworks, or performance system rollouts Maintaining HRIS data and employee files to ensure data integrity and confidentiality Responding to employee inquiries or routing them to appropriate HR contacts Preparing reports or presentations as needed for internal stakeholders Supporting compliance with federal and state labor laws, and industry-specific requirements Interpreting and applying HR policies in compliance with employment laws Analyzing workforce data and providing insights to support decision-making Collaborating with recruiting, benefits, and learning teams to deliver integrated HR solutions Guiding managers through performance management, employee relations, and corrective action processes Other tasks as assigned. The ability to maintain confidentiality and the ability to work with a variety of personality types are absolutely essential. Occasional travel may be required. The successful candidate must have the following: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in human resources, business, communications, or related field from an accredited college or be able to obtain the degree within 3 months of hire date. OR Associate’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or related field from an accredited college or university AND at least 2 years of relevant human resources experience OR If no degree, must have at least 4 years of relevant human resources experience. The ideal candidate will have any/all the following: Previous internship experience in human resources Knowledge of employment law, benefits, compliance, training, internal communication Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and consulting skills with ability to influence / support leaders at all levels Knowledge of/experience with HRIS software (Paylocity a plus) Experience writing/editing a variety of documents Research and reporting skills Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Scheduling, polling, and online meeting software programs Experience at a full-service A/E firm is a plus At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
