Description
We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join a well-established hospitality organization in Riverside, Connecticut. This part-time, onsite role offers flexibility with scheduling and is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments while balancing strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day operations. This is a Contract position with potential for long-term growth, providing an excellent opportunity for advancement in a supportive and engaging workplace.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for employees.
• Collaborate with management to address hiring needs, including drafting job postings, conducting screenings, and coordinating interviews.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Address employee relations matters and assist with updating policies and internal communications.
• Manage benefits administration, track time-off requests, and provide support in payroll-related tasks.
• Offer guidance to leadership and staff on HR best practices and company procedures.
• Monitor compliance standards and ensure alignment with legal and organizational requirements.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall goals of the organization.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in hospitality or customer-focused industries.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, onboarding/offboarding processes, and compliance regulations.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll processes.
• Proficiency in maintaining employee records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• A hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making in HR operations.
