Description A growing construction company in Carlsbad is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support their HR functions and administrative operations. This role is perfect for an individual looking to grow within the HR field, with room for future development and advancement. Key Responsibilities: + Assist in day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining personnel files. + Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and assisting in candidate communication. + Process new hire paperwork and ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations. + Manage administrative tasks, including tracking employee attendance, scheduling, and PTO requests. + Respond to employee questions and concerns, providing first-line HR support as needed. + Assist in building company culture by coordinating employee engagement programs and team-building events. Requirements + 1+ year of HR experience and at least 1 year of administrative experience. + Working knowledge of HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. + Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. + Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. + Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software is a plus. + Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
