Human Resources Coordinator – APAC Region Looking for 1 regular full-time position, located in Townsville, Australia Administration is the backbone of an organization. We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator in the APAC region to help ensure our teams are connected within our organization. What You’ll Work On The Human Resources Generalist oversees HR practices locally for the Australia locations and provides leadership to other small APAC sites in the region (China, India, Japan and Thailand). They are responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating HR activities to maximize the potential of human resources within the region. They coordinate recruiting, compensation, recognition, policy development, and regulatory compliance in alignment with corporate HR guidance and legislation that applies in each country. They balance the roles of employee advocate and agent of the company in a manner that establishes a strong culture of positive employee relations and financial stability. Relationship management, coaching and performance acceleration are invaluable to this role. You’ll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks + Create and maintain a strong culture in accordance with Campbell Scientific’s core ARCTIC values -- Accountability, Respect, Client-Centric, Teamwork, Innovation, Continuous Improvement. Education, events, and activities should strengthen these cultural values. + Lead recruitment efforts for the region in alignment with established company processes, practices and tools from initial posting of vacant roles to new hire onboarding. Teach and train hiring managers to use the tools and processes necessary for effective recruitment and selection and to ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience. + Serve as a conduit between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and policies, and striving to resolve work-related issues including investigations that report findings and recommendations. + Ensure the organization is compliant with regional employment legislation. + Consult with legal counsel as appropriate. + Manage and oversee the off-boarding processes including exit interviews. + Oversee regional benefit programs aligned with local regulatory requirements. + Coordinates with company compensation leaders to ensure pay programs are in place for the locations within the region. Balances external competitiveness with internal equity. + Work with supervisors and management on resource planning and ensure job descriptions are well maintained and aligned with company job description library. + Administer the corporate performance review program for regional sites. + Partner with company leaders to plan and organize training that strengthens the organization with strong return on investment. Determines solutions for employee development, internal knowledge transfer, external courses, career/succession planning, potential external funding via grants and scholarship programs and tracking of training records. What We're Looking For + 2-4 years of experience in a human resources role. + Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, social sciences, or relevant work experience in related fields. + Experience leading recruiting efforts. International recruiting knowledge a plus. + Knowledge of theories, principles, best practices and administration of the human resources function. + Broad knowledge of relevant legislation in the APAC region. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and related applications. + HRIS experience (ADP a plus) + Able to build and maintain relationships with all levels of employees. + Able to establish credibility with leadership team. + Leadership skills, mentoring and coaching, employee training and development and performance management. + Excellent written and verbal communication. + Organization, planning and change management skills. + Critical thinking and problem-solving. + Strong team player. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones and communication systems. Travel will be required on occasion to regional sites to ensure strong alignment with corporate human resource policies and practices.
