Human Resources Consultant
Description We are looking for an experienced HR professional to temporarily step into a strategic advisory role, supporting a major organizational transition. This opportunity involves leading human resources initiatives during a transfer of ownership, ensuring a seamless integration of workplace culture, organizational structure, and team alignment during this critical change period. As a trusted consultant and change leader, you will work closely with top executives, HR, and operational teams to craft and deploy strategies focused on workforce planning, cultural integration, and overall organizational alignment. Key Responsibilities: + Serve as a senior HR advisor for leadership during the acquisition and transition phase. + Analyze current HR frameworks, policies, and talent structures, and oversee the implementation of adjustments based on business needs. + Drive change management initiatives that align organizational culture with the goals of the new ownership. + Lead planning and execution of internal communication strategies to engage employees and key stakeholders effectively. + Facilitate leadership development, workforce restructuring, and optimization of performance systems. + Develop and align retention, reward, and succession strategies to match evolving organizational objectives. + Ensure compliance with all employment regulations throughout the transition journey. + Act as a key liaison between internal teams and the acquiring organization's HR leadership. Requirements Qualifications: + 10+ years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, including both in-house and consulting capacities. + Demonstrated expertise in managing organizational transitions such as mergers, acquisitions, or significant realignments. + In-depth knowledge of change management principles, workforce planning, and executive coaching. + Strategic mindset with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. + Advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. + Relevant certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or Prosci are considered an asset.
