#1646 Costa Mesa, CA, USA Pay Range $87K - $131K Job Description The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to designated departments within the credit union. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with people strategies, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving organizational effectiveness. The HRBP will collaborate with leadership to implement HR initiatives that support employee engagement, performance, and development. Strategic Partnership + Align HR strategies with business goals to support departmental success. + Build strong relationships with leaders to understand operational needs and workforce planning. + Provide guidance on organizational design, change management, and succession planning. Employee Relations & Culture + Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR-related matters. + Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts with fairness and consistency. + Champion a respectful, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture. Talent Management & Development + Support performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and reviews. + Facilitate career development and training initiatives for Management . + Partner with managers to identify high-potential talent and create growth pathways. HR Operations & Compliance + Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews and trend analysis. + Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures. + Respond to unemployment claims and manage sensitive employee issues. Recruitment Support - Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Experience: 8+ years in HR, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP or senior HR leadership role. Skills: + Strong business acumen and strategic thinking + Excellent communication and influence skills + Proficiency in HRIS and data analytics tools + Deep understanding of employment law and compliance
