Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
System One has partnered with a local manufacturing facility that is looking for a dedicated and strategic Human Resources Business Partner. This pivotal role will focus on integrating HR initiatives with operational objectives, ensuring that the workforce is engaged, informed, and aligned with the company's business goals.
Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Partner with business leaders to identify staffing needs and craft tailored job descriptions. Lead the entire recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. Develop and implement effective onboarding programs that promote a smooth transition for new employees joining the organization. Employee Benefits Oversight: Administer employee benefits packages, offering guidance and support during open enrollment and throughout the year. Address benefits-related inquiries from team members to ensure clarity and satisfaction. Leave Management: Manage compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other leave programs. Maintain thorough records of employee leave and ensure adherence to legal requirements. Employee Relations Support: Act as a resource for employees regarding workplace policies and resolution of conflicts. Investigate employee concerns and recommend appropriate actions to enhance workplace harmony. Financial Oversight: Review and reconcile invoices from staffing agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budget constraints. Work collaboratively with agencies to address and resolve any billing discrepancies. Travel Requirements: Occasional travel between facility sites may be necessary for meetings, training, and collaboration. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience in a business partnering or generalist capacity, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Comprehensive understanding of HR functions, employment regulations, and best practices. Strong expertise in recruitment, onboarding, benefits management, and employee relations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to cultivate relationships at all organizational levels. Superior organizational and analytical skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
