Job Description
The Human Resources Associate supports the Human Resources department by performing administrative tasks related to onboarding, employee records, employee relations, administration, and compliance. This role ensures smooth HR operations and provides excellent service to employees and management.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update employee records in HR systems and databases (Workday).Generate reports for HR metrics and audits using MS Excel.Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, letters, and reports using MS Word and PowerPoint.Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement activities.Support payroll processing by providing necessary employee data.Essential SkillsBilingual in Spanish is a significant advantageExperience with HRIS systems.3-5 years of administrative experience.3-5 years of experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Workday.Previous HR experience.Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite at a large manufacturing/distribution facility with over 200 employees across three shifts. he typical shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with optional overtime available.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Rochelle, Illinois.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
