Description
An entertainment company in Century City is hiring a HR Project Manager for a 6-month contract with potential to extend. The HR Project Manager is a key partner to HR leadership, business stakeholders, and global teams, working to ensure the successful delivery of HR projects that enable scalable growth, operational efficiency, and employee experience improvements. This role reports directly to the Sr. HR Portfolio Manager and supports initiatives that align with the organization’s overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage HR projects from strategy to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and HR transformation goals.
+ Create and implement project plans, milestone tracking, governance structures, and clear communication frameworks to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
+ Establish partnerships and collaborate with key business stakeholders and HR team members to foster teamwork, collaboration, and learning within the HR team, contributing to a positive work environment.
+ Communicate consistent and clear status updates to appropriate audiences using a regular cadence and format.
+ Drive HR process improvement and integrations (including platforms such as Workday) to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and improve scalability.
+ Partner with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to align project goals, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless execution.
+ Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption, minimize disruption, and ensure a positive employee experience during organizational transitions.
+ Facilitate prioritization and sequencing of HR projects, ensuring interdependencies and business needs are addressed.
+ Leverage data and insights to track project progress, identify risks, and recommend proactive solutions.
+ Facilitate meetings and drive consensus and collaboration to expedite decision-making processes.
+ Collaborate with multiple senior-level stakeholders to resolve challenges, influence strategic decisions, and enable leadership success.
Education and Experience Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, program management, or HR project management.
+ Demonstrated experience in delivering best-in-class HR programs.
+ Proven ability to manage projects with high ambiguity, balancing strategic planning with tactical execution.
+ Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven track record of successfully interacting with senior leadership.
+ Ability to influence consensus at all organizational levels with high emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
+ Experience developing change management strategies to drive adoption and enhance engagement among employees.
+ Requirements gathering and analysis experience (5+ years) and strong analytical skills, particularly with HR data, reporting, and process optimization.
+ Ability to handle highly sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
+ Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
This position is hybrid and will require onsite three day per week. This is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend. Pay is based on experience, up to $48/hr.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in HR, program management, or HR project management.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality HR programs and managing complex projects.
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic priorities with tactical execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in change management strategies to drive adoption and engagement.
• Proficiency in analyzing HR data, reporting, and process optimization.
