Safety and Human Resource Manager

Our client, an Automotive Fastener manufacturer in Fraser is seeking a Safety & Human Resource Manager to join their team. This position ensures that all safety regulations and HR policies are followed, promoting a secure, compliant, and productive environment for all employees. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing setting and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance.

What’s the Job?

Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs specific to fastener manufacturing operations. Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local/state regulations. Lead safety training sessions including lockout/tagout, PPE use, forklift safety, and emergency response. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding hourly and salaried employees. Support managers in handling employee relations, coaching, and performance issues. Maintain employee records and manage time and attendance systems. Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and HR reporting as needed. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the facility.

What’s Needed?

Knowledge of Federal, State & local guidelines (OSHA Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 2+ years of combined experience in HR & Safety within a manufacturing envoirment.  Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
