Responsibilities Assist with administrative duties within the Human Resources DepartmentProcess employment applications and maintain tracking log; assist in scheduling interviews and pre-employment testingUpdate Applicant Tracking System with new hires; off-board terminated employeesConduct new hire orientationsMaintain weekly manpower schedule; Update Kronos with shift changes (audit records)Assist and motivate with the completion of compliance coursesSTAR team leader – handles the ordering of prizes and awards Administer HRIS system changes Assist with employee benefit issues Assist on various HR special projects; participate on a teamMaintain employee filesAssist with walk-in questionsParticipate in Plant and departmental Quality meetingsServe as backup to HR Generalist and HR ManagerOther duties as assigned Qualifications Exceptional communication and organization skillsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience is preferred. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required. Previous experience using HRIS software is preferredMust be detail-oriented and able to complete multiple tasks simultaneouslyWorking knowledge of labor laws and requirements preferredAbility to work with confidential information Additional Info
