Human Resource Coordinator

The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Human Resources function including recruiting, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, equal employment opportunity, and/or employee records.

Responsibilities:

Administrative support tasks cross-functionally across HR Department Coordinates new hire onboarding from accepted offer to Day 1 Employee on-boarding: I-9 maintenance, remediation, and implementation w/Equifax Processes LOAs and Terminations in Saphron; responds to Security Access Requests (SAR) Maintains Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) records, ensuring data accuracy through self-audits and reports Answering internal/external customer questions Employee referral/Sign on Bonus Tracking Order bereavement gifts Monitor the HR Voicemail system Orders and tracks State and Federal legal compliance postings for all states and locations Monitor the general HR email inbox Create and Order Work Badges Password updates Assist in investigations, employee complaints as needed Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations Assist in development and implementation of HR policies Support special HR projects Collaborate with HR team to improve processes and practices Other duties as necessary

Payroll & Benefits: 

Process Wage Audits and Wage Requests for purposes of: Unemployment, Worker’s Comp, Legal claims, etc. Assist with LOA administration, including template communications, sending/receiving physician paperwork Assists in benefits data administration to include activation and termination in various third-party systems

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required (associate’s degree or higher preferred) 2 or more years of HR experience preferred Proven experience as office or administrative coordinator or in a similar role Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from managers or other members of the business Must possess a high sense of urgency and initiative, with the ability to organize and problem solve Ability to effectively present information to employees and management Demonstrates an elevated level of judgment and discretion Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner UKG Payroll experience preferred
