Human Resource Assistant
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Human Resource Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in the Greater Philadelphia Region, this role involves supporting key Human Resource functions, including recruiting, compliance, and document management. The ideal Human Resource Assistant candidate will bring a strong understanding of Human Resource processes to ensure seamless operations. What you get to do every single day: • Conduct candidate recruiting efforts, ensuring applicants align with role requirements while adhering to compliance standards. • Verify candidate information, including education credentials and other necessary details, to maintain accurate records. • Follow established checklists to confirm all candidate-related documentation is compliant and up to date. • Provide support for human resource audits by reviewing and organizing relevant materials. • Manage a high volume of documents with precision and efficiency. • Utilize HR software systems such as Kronos and ADP Workforce Now to maintain and update records. • Assist with background checks and benefit-related functions as needed. • Address inquiries with excellent customer service and professionalism. • Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and ensure compliance. Requirements Other requirements for the Human Resource Assistant position include and are not limited to: • Proven experience in recruiting, with a solid understanding of Human Resource practices and compliance requirements. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Proficiency in HR software systems such as ADP, Kronos, or similar platforms. • Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and HRMS (Human Resource Management Systems). • Strong ability to perform background checks and handle sensitive information with confidentiality. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service. • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new processes and ask clarifying questions when needed.
