Using discretion and independent judgment, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing human resources support to the Organization to achieve its long term vision and strategic initiatives, as well as meet the needs of the day-to-day operations.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Mission Statement, Core Values of the Organization, and consistently demonstrates a commitment to customer service excellenceEnsures compliance with all established company policies and proceduresProvides administrative human resources support for the Organization. Support services include, but are not limited to personnel file maintenance, licensure tracking and maintenance, benefit, and payroll administration, corporate compliance, workers’ compensationConducts new manager orientation and prepares new hire packets. Ensures accurate and timely completion of the new hire paperworkFacilitates in the processing of terminations, salary increases, status changes, as well as providing next steps in unemployment claims & leaves of absence requestsSupports and consults with Human Resources Manager or Regional Human Resources Director regarding employee inquiries, investigations, and organizational effectivenessCompiles information and materials that may involve extensive research and include highly confidential and sensitive informationImplements and communicates new or updated processes or policies to the fieldMaintains accurate, complete, and organized records, reports, files, and other documentation including tracking, organizing, and auditing this information in a timely mannerPerforms other duties or special projects as assigned under the supervision of the Director of Workforce Compliance.Remote role. QualificationsEducation/Credentials
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field of study; Degree must be from an accredited college or university, or equivalent education and experience.
Job-Related Experience
Customarily has at least one (1) year of applicable experience in benefit administration, payroll administration, and / or basic HR functions.Experience in a healthcare organization is preferred.Prior experience in a multi-state organization with exposure to related state law preferredJob-Related Skills/Competencies

Physical/Mental Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously sitting for extended periods, occasionally standing and walking. Due to the nature of this position, an employee can expect heavy computer usage and performing other job tasks requiring repetitive motion and hand and wrist flexion/extension for at least six or more hours during the workday. Occasional stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching or overhead reaching, and climbing in the performance of work. The ability to hear and understand with clarity and detect sound, and have conversations with staff, customers, management, etc. Hearing within the acceptable range for telephone and in-person contacts. Normal or corrected vision to acceptable levels for office work. The ability to lift/carry up to 10 pounds.
Work is performed in primarily in the office/remote environment. Involves substantial contact with staff, management, and others. Position requires flexibility in working hours. Must be able effectively resolve conflicts as they arise.
Travel is not required.
