EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION

The Executive Compensation team is responsible for a wide and varied remit which includes regulatory reporting, remuneration disclosures, remuneration governance, and responding to the European remuneration regulations. The team also manages other key activities such as assisting with the public disclosure of Directors Emoluments, dealing with senior employee compensation matters and handling employee equity queries, in addition to a variety of firmwide projects and initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful individual will be involved in the following activities:

Preparation / review of regulatory submissionsDetermination of Material Risk Taker populationPreparation / review of public remuneration disclosuresDrafting responses to regulatory queriesPreparation of materials for remuneration committee meetingsInvolvement in ad hoc projects as required to respond to changes in remuneration rulesInvolvement in director’s emoluments reportingOther annual executive remuneration processesCoordinate with colleagues in the Firmwide Compensation team - together with other departments such as Equity Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Controllers, Legal and Tax                                           

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be successful in performing and developing within this role, you will need to demonstrate exposure and experience in the majority of the following areas:

Circa 1-3 years’ reward, compensation or tax experience, ideally within a Financial or Professional Services environment Awareness of Executive Compensation practices and European remuneration regulations would be an advantageGood communication and relationship management skills - ability to understand and articulate complex issues  Excellent analytical skills - an ability to review current processes and/or data, detect and correct errors, take responsibility for data qualityProject management - prioritize workload and meet deadlinesAbility to understand and consider requirements of Firmwide functions, divisions and regionsClient service focus, notable responsiveness and a "can-do" attitudeGood judgment - knowing when to escalate an issue combined with a willingness to be flexibleStrong Excel skills requiredThorough attention to detail
