Job Description:

The Hub Operations Clerk is a part-time, day sort position and is responsible for updating package information, validating delivery information using UPS systems, scanning premium service packages, assisting dispatch and updating the package inventory systems. This position may also perform general administrative responsibilities including preparation of reports using various software packages, compilation of information from various sources, and handling small scale projects.

The Hub Operations Clerk may be required to utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks and will be trained to operate this equipment. Included in the responsibilities will be to complete package recovery process in the Hub, package inventory update, overgoods, DG processing and all other work as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Completes package and inventory recovery process in the Vancouver Hub OperationsCompletes overgoods processing and documentationGenerates package recovery and overgoods processing reports for Hub Operations and Package CareProcesses Dangerous Goods (DG) package recoveryTakes action to learn all product and service offeringsOperates all office equipment, software, and devicesMaintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skillsStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office ApplicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a warehouse environment

Additional Information:

Job Type: PT Permanent/Hourly- Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.Starting Pay: $17.85 HourlyJob Location: 19088 38 Ave, Surrey, BC V3Z 1K8Workdays: Monday – Fridays (5 Days/ Week)Starting Time: 16:00 - 21:00 (shifts can vary and/or extend due to operational requirements)
