Your role and responsibilities
Step into a role where your expertise in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality truly makes an impact. Based at our Motion Service Workshop in Eagle Farm, you’ll play a key role in elevating HSEQ performance across the business. From applying your deep HSEQ knowledge to delivering practical solutions and risk management strategies, you’ll be a trusted advisor and change-maker—championing safety and operational excellence across the ABB value chain.

Key responsibilities
Support the integration and ongoing compliance with ISO standards related to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Quality by facilitating risk assessments, ensuring preventive measures are in place, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Report HSEQ incidents, assist in investigations, and share lessons learned and best practices to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation across the organization.
Assist line managers and supervisors in understanding and fulfilling their HSEQ responsibilities in line with local laws and corporate requirements, while supporting the implementation of group-wide HSEQ programs.
Contribute to HSEQ related projects, track progress against KPIs and objectives, and ensure the availability and effective use of HSE tools and equipment.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in HSE
5+ years’ HSEQ experience in engineering/workshop environments
Strong knowledge of HSEQ tools, investigation methods, and relevant legislation
Familiar with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
Proven ability to build positive safety culture and manage psychosocial risks
Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment and ISO Lead Auditor qualification (desirable)
Trained in Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordination
