Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced WHSE Advisor to champion workplace health, safety, and environmental initiatives across a high-profile government-aligned portfolio. Based on-site at our client’s Parramatta office, you’ll play a key role in implementing and enhancing WHSE systems, compliance, and culture. This is a permanent, full-time position with the possibility of flexible hybrid working after the training/probation period.
Reporting to the WHSE Manager, you’ll work closely with operational teams and contractors to ensure compliance with legal, client, and corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and monitor WHSE programs and management systems Lead WHSE audits, risk assessments, and permit-to-work reviews Report and investigate hazards and incidents using best-practice methods Support contractor compliance and safety training Provide technical support for transitions and tenders Contribute to regular client and contractor WHSE forums Ensure alignment with ISO 14001, AS/NZS 4801, and BGIS policiesEducation, Experience & Skills
Essential:
Minimum 5 years in a similar WHSE role within facilities, construction, or property Certificate IV in WHS/OHS Experience conducting incident investigations and audits Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and AS/NZS 4801 Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and systems Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reporting skillsDesirable:
Diploma or higher in WHSE or related field ICAM Investigation Training Permit Issuer TrainingWorkplace Flexibility
This position is based on-site at the client’s Parramatta office. A hybrid working arrangement may be available after the probation or training period.
