Job Overview:

Primoris Renewable Energy (PRE) is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional to join our team as a HSE Systems Administrator in the Denver, CO area. This role supports our in-vehicle telematics system by reviewing and analyzing video driver events, maintaining system accuracy, and developing data-driven insights and recommendations based on telematics data. This role is designed with growth in mind. You will gain experience working with technology systems, fleet data, and operational processes. This role will work with other members of the HSE Systems Team on projects related to the collection, analysis and dissemination of HSE Data to the broader organization.

 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Telematics System Monitoring & Event Review

Review and classify driver events (e.g., mobile usage, no seat belt, speeding, harsh braking) using the telematics platform. Maintain a self-driven schedule to stay current on event queues and ensure coaching is delivered promptly. Identify patterns or trends in driver behavior and escalate significant safety or compliance issues. Support investigation and documentation of incidents as needed.

Data Integrity & System Maintenance

Ensure vehicle, driver, and location information within the telematics system is accurate and up to date. Collaborate with other departments (IT, Fleet) to synchronize system data. Assist with system audits to verify data quality and resolve discrepancies. Compile and store information in accordance with PSC document and data retention policies.

Reporting & Analysis

Generate and distribute regular reports for management on driver performance and safety events. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations based on telematics data.

Process & Documentation Development

Document workflows for event review, system updates, and reporting. Support training materials development for system users and team members.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as a liaison between drivers, managers, and system administrators to ensure accurate and effective use of the telematics platform. Participate in process improvement initiatives across fleet operations and safety.

 

Qualifications:

Required

High School Diploma or GED. General knowledge of construction, fleet and/or equipment operations. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Self-motivated with strong time management skills; able to stay on top of event review and coaching workflows consistently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work with confidential information.

Preferred

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Transportation, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Familiarity with telematics systems (e.g., Samsara). Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in transportation. Basic experience with reporting tools or data visualization (e.g., Power BI).

Pay Equity 

$61,000 - $71,000

Primoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule and is dependent upon experience, qualifications and competencies. Primoris Renewable Energy reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
