Currently seeking a HSE Supervisor for a full-time permanent position in Woodstock, CT
Responsibilities of HSE Supervisor include:
-Promote a safe work environment
-Ensure employees are following company, departmental and federal safety regulations
Lead HSE associates in daily tasks
-Conduct and provide on-site training for new and existing employees
-Complete daily, monthly, and annually routine safety audits, inspections, and assessments
-Investigate incidents and accidents to discover route cause
-Make recommended corrective actions on incidents and track resolutions
-Maintain all necessary safety reports, logs, and records
-Stay up to date on industry regulations, standards, and best practices and implement into company
-Provide support to emergency preparedness and response efforts
Requirements of HSE Supervisor:
-Minimum High School Diploma, or equivalent; Associates in business, health or safety preferred
-OSHA-30 certification required
-CPR/First aid certification
-Lockout/Tagout Authorized User Trainer and Counterbalance equipment train the trainer
-Previous experience in HSE supervisory or similar role
-Bilingual in English and Spanish a must
-Great verbal and written communication skills
-Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office software
-Excellent organizational and attention to detail
Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday *This position entails occasional duties beyond typical working hours, including evenings and weekends
Pay Rate: $30.00-$34.00/hr
