Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Specialist to support safety operations at an active mining site. This role is critical to ensuring the health and safety of all personnel involved in the ongoing mill and crusher segment replacement project.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure the health and safety of all personnel involved in the mill and crusher segment replacement project.Implement and manage hazard validation and risk mitigation practices to maintain safety standards.Write and manage Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to identify and address potential risks.Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of safety and compliance.Utilize computer systems and safety reporting tools to monitor and report on safety operations.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in mining or heavy industrial safety environments.Proficiency in hazard validation and risk mitigation practices.Proficiency in computer systems and safety reporting tools.3+ years of experience writing and managing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertifications in OSHA, MSHA, or equivalent.Experience working on mill and crusher equipment.Work Environment
The work is conducted in a mine environment located in Bagdad, with accommodations in Wickenburg. The role involves working on mill and crusher equipment. The position offers 1.5x overtime pay and 2x hourly pay on double time and overtime. The dress code and specific safety gear requirements will be provided to ensure a safe working environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
