Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will play a key role in enhancing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance within your area of responsibility. You will help foster a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE by applying your expertise, offering practical solutions, and ensuring effective risk management across the ABB value chain.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the HSE strategy implementation in Motion Business in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

Report HSE incidents to management and relevant stakeholders, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions.Facilitate and support incident investigations to identify opportunities for risk mitigation.Share lessons learned and best practices within your unit and across the organization.Promote behavioral change through the local implementation of global and business-specific HSE improvement programs.

Qualifications

2–4 years of relevant experience in HSE management systems, including fieldwork as an HSE technician or specialist.Hands-on experience with management systems; knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 is a plus.Familiarity with risk assessment tools, continuous improvement frameworks, and incident investigation methods.Basic to intermediate knowledge of Mexican occupational health and safety regulations.Previous experience in the industrial and/or energy sector is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.Strong interest in safety culture development, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving.Intermediate or higher level of English, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Valid driver’s license in the Republic of Mexico.
