This Position reports to:

HSE Manager

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role is contributing to the Electrifications Smart Building Factory in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila.

Your Role: Own the Challenge

Report HSE incidents to management and relevant stakeholders, taking appropriate actions.Facilitate and guide incident investigations to identify better risk mitigation strategies.Provide feedback to management and employees on lessons learned and best practices within the unit and across ABB.Support and drive behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific HSE improvement programs.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) roles.Knowledge of HSE management systems (ISO 14001, 45001, 50001, 9000) and applicable legislation (NOMs STPS, SEMARNAT).Experience as a lead or internal auditor for HSE standards.Intermediate English communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, or data management tools is plus.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
