HSE Regulatory Coordinator
Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position through **07/27/2025** at **11:59 p.m.** ( **GMT - 3** ). **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:** + Coordinates effective environmental HSE programs, implementation as well as compliance with all laws and regulations within Argentina. + Coordinates and monitor HSE Management System Programs + Directs the legislative and regulatory activities of Argentina throughout the lifecycle of operations to enable execution of the business plan and ensure compliance. + Establish and maintain a network in Argentina and local communities in which Chevron operates to create access and serve as a trusted resource to officials seeking formal or informal input on issues and proposals that impact the industry. + Support Chevron interests through influence on the design and application of new legislation and regulations (Health, Safety and Environment) + Prepares the business for changes in legislation, regulation or policy that could impact operations and future investments. + Collaborates to direct Argentina´s advocacy efforts to protect operations and manage agency relationships on technical HSE matters. + Participate in joint industry efforts. + Advises leadership on compliance and policy matters and coordinate responses to local authorities. **Required Qualifications:** + Degree in engineering or HSE technical field is required. + +7 years of experience in environmental field, Oil and Gas industry. + Advanced or fluent English level. + Demonstrated technical competence and recent experience in Environmental Regulations, Permitting, and Compliance; familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, and policies within Oil & Gas industry + Knowledgeable regarding Argentina environmental and safety regs applicable to the Upstream Oil & Gas operations in Argentina and the legislative and regulatory processes used to create them. + Experience collaborating across Oil and Gas technical functions, business leaders and colleagues in corporate departments. + Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders. + Demonstrated capability to monitor, review, and influence proposed legislation and regulations with potential to impact company operations, planned activities, HES and operational compliance. + Ability to be direct, decisive and accountable and consistent with our Chevron Way values. + Display initiative and a self-starter attitude, setting priorities and maintaining a high level of accomplishment. + Demonstrated ability to achieve exceptional results. **Relocation Options:** Relocation is **not** offered for this role.
