Parsons is looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join our team! In this role, you will lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. You will play a critical role in fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across all project phases.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System in compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international standards.Oversee all HSE activities across project sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards.Prepare and review HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, and other safety-related documentation.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on HSE matters, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.Deliver HSE training programs and toolbox talks to enhance awareness and competency among employees and contractors.Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for clients, stakeholders, and senior management.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment on HSE objectives.Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.Ensure emergency response plans are in place and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.Stay updated on local and international HSE regulations and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement of HSE processes.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation techniques.Familiarity with local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present detailed HSE reports.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide HSE staff.Proficiency in HSE management tools and software.Certification in HSE management systems, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Experience working in the Middle East or GCC region is highly preferred.Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
