As\nan HSE Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and\nmanaging the organization's health, safety, and environmental engineering\nefforts within the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will play a\ncrucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for\nemployees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of\nbest practices in engineering-related safety. You will lead a dedicated team of\nHSE professionals, manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments to\npromote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the IA\nbusiness unit.

You will report directly to our Sr Director HSE and you'll work on site out of\nour Columbus, Ohio location.

In this role, you will impact our IA business unit by overseeing the\ndevelopment and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs\nthat ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the\nIA business unit's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and\nenvironmental responsibility.Ensure that the IA business unit complies with all relevant health,\nsafety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.Develop and implement safety measures, training, and policies to prevent\naccidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace within the IA\nbusiness unit.Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards\nand contribute to the development of preventive measures within the IA business\nunit.Develop and maintain emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents,\nincluding accidents and environmental emergencies within the IA business unit.Support the management of the HSE budget within the IA business unit,\nincluding resource allocation and cost-effective solutions to maintain high\nstandards of health, safety, and environmental protection.Contribute to environmental sustainability within the IA business unit\nby implementing eco-friendly practices and minimizing the environmental impact\nof the IA business unit's operations.Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and\nexternal stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and\neducation on HSE matters within the IA business unit.

YOU MUST HAVE

6+ years of experience in HSE engineeringKnowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best\npractices.Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning\nabilities.
