HSE Manager

As\nan HSE Manager here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for overseeing and\nmanaging the health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts within our\nAerospace Technologies (AT) business unit. You will play a crucial role in ensuring\nthe highest standards of health and safety for our employees, compliance with\nenvironmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in\nengineering-related safety.

You will report directly to our Site Leader and you will work out of our\nPlymouth, MN location.

In this role, you will impact our organization by overseeing the development\nand implementation of health, safety, ergonomics, and environmental programs\nthat ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to\nwork with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will contribute to\nthe overall success and reputation of our business as an accountable and\nsustainable organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the\norganization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental\nresponsibility.Guide and manage a team of HSE professionals, including engineers,\nspecialists, and facilitation staff, ensuring efficient and effective HSE\nengineering practices.Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and\nenvironmental regulations, permits, and certifications.Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to\nprevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace.Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential\nhazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures.Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSE-related\nincidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies.Develop and manage the HSE budget, allocate resources, and seek\ncost-effective solutions to maintain high standards of health, safety, and\nenvironmental protection.Promote environmental sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practices\nand minimizing the environmental impact of the organization's operations.Establish and enforce quality control standards in HSE engineering,\nconducting regular inspections and performance assessments.Work with various internal departments, senior management, and external\nstakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE\nmatters.U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Compensation & Benefits

The\nannual base salary range for this position is $118,000 - $147,000. Please note\nthat this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers\nvarious factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope\nand responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience,\neducation and training, key skills, as well as market and business\nconsiderations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE5+ years of experience in HSE Engineering5+ years of guiding and directing team management skills.In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, ergonomics and best practices.Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.Certification\nin HSE or a related field is a plus.
