HSE Intern
The HSE intern provides immediate support to the HSE function, and all levels of employees on a variety of Health, Safety and Environmental aspects. + The role of HSE Intern entails the following: + Become familiar with SLB HSE culture and SLB health, safety and environmental system + Provide direct support to the HSE function in execution of HSE duties + Conduct site walkarounds, with ability to observe operations and site conditions with a keen eye on HSE aspects. + Provide health, safety and environmental observations, recommendations and ideas for improvement + Participate in HSE Audits, Inspections, Meetings conducted at all locations, when required + Support with Administrative tasks including but not limited to; record keeping and management of both Hardcopy files and Softcopy HSE records, use of the company Quest Internal document Management System and GTC HSE Sharepoint, Viva Engage, etc. + Liaise with other business lines, functions and third parties on HSE matters with the guidance of SLB HSE personnel + Communicate effectively among others both verbally and written. + Review and respond to HSE emails & Actions with sound HSE advice and professionalism + Assist with the preparation of HSE Meeting slides, Training Room, and Communications for Meetings and/or Training + Liaise with Buyers/ Suppliers, and follow up on placed orders for Goods/Services related to the HSE/Facilities Management function + Assisting in the developing, review and verifying validity of Risk Assessments + Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures in the execution of duties + Assist with ad hoc requests and projects as required. + Follow prescribed internship guidelines for each week as closely as possible. Note: While the opportunity for technically-trained professionals is large, these jobs are unique in their scope and responsibility and require a special kind of individual to succeed.
