Internal Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 

Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks. Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Monitor health and safety activities of Site personnel regularly Keep incidence report occurred at site. Train workers regarding health and safety at site. Submit weekly health safety report to Project Manager. Any other task assign by PM.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

HSE Engineers should possess a strong technical background and a comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. They must stay updated with the latest industry standards and possess expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, emergency response, and environmental management. Proficiency in using relevant software and analytical tools is also beneficial.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for HSE Engineers, as they often interact with various stakeholders, including workers, management, and regulatory agencies. Strong communication skills enable HSE Engineers to effectively convey safety protocols, conduct training sessions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve safety objectives.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities

HSE Engineers should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify potential risks and develop effective strategies for risk mitigation. They must be able to analyze complex data, perform quantitative risk assessments, and propose practical solutions to enhance workplace safety and environmental sustainability.

Leadership and Management Skills

As HSE Engineers often play a leadership role in promoting safety within organizations, possessing strong leadership and management skills is advantageous. These skills enable them to influence stakeholders, implement safety programs, and drive a culture of safety throughout the organization. Effective management skills help in organizing and prioritizing tasks and resources to achieve safety goals.

Qualification and Experience                                                                            

 Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science or any related flied with minimum  5 yrs of industry experience
