- Conduct regular inspections and audits of site activities to ensure compliance with project-specific HSE plans, legal requirements, and WSP standards.
- Identify unsafe conditions and practices and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper implementation of risk assessments, method statements, and work permits.
- Monitor the implementation of control measures and safety precautions on site.
- Assist in incident investigations and prepare reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Provide HSE training, toolbox talks, and inductions to workforce and subcontractors as required.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and non-compliance issues.
- Promote a strong safety culture by supporting awareness campaigns and behavioral safety programs.
- Liaise with the contractor’s HSE personnel to ensure proper implementation of the HSE management system.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HSE Inspector on large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, codes, and best practices.
- Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards is a plus.
- Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on-site.
- Must be a Saudi National.
- Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) membership or eligible to obtain one.
