You will lead activities and HSE&F performance metrics for the Chihuahua Design Center. You will accomplish this by establishing strong working relationships with the site leadership team and employees. You will lead a team of at least two HSE&F employees and ten to twelve third party employees. You will be the key HSE&F resource with the Chihuahua Design Center directing sustainable facility management, health and safety programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes and keeping in front of leading practices in health and safety standards. Integrate, monitor, and support Health, Safety programs to ensure compliance with the applicable guidelines, procedures, and regulations. Incorporate continuous improvement using Resideo's Health and Safety initiatives. Provide proactive integration of HSE&F initiatives across all active areas at the Chihuahua Design Center, keeping in front of leading edge safety awareness.
**JOB DUTIES:**
+ Develops, implements, and maintains Health, Safety, Environmental, and Facilities (HSE&F) standards to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
+ Provides technical support and guidance on HSE&F matters to all employees, ensuring they understand and adhere to safety protocols.
+ Conducts regular site compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
+ Administers the Management Operating System (MOS) effectively to track and manage HSE&F activities and performance.
+ Acts as an effective coach and role model, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement among employees.
+ Deploys safety initiatives and programs aimed at reducing risks and enhancing workplace safety.
+ Measures and analyzes key HSE&F metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
+ Drives the implementation of standard work procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all HSE&F activities.
+ Manages incidents and accidents, ensuring proper reporting, investigation, and corrective actions are taken.
+ Oversees the cafeteria committee, ensuring proper management and adherence to health and safety standards.
+ Organizes and leads health campaigns to promote employee well-being and safety.
+ Coordinates yearly preventive maintenance activities for facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
**YOU MUST HAVE:**
+ **Minimum of 5 Years of Experience:** Proven track record in engineering disciplines such as manufacturing, safety, environmental science, facilities management, or related fields.
+ **Full Proficiency in English:** Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
+ **Regulatory Knowledge:** In-depth understanding of STPS (Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social), COFEPRIS (Comisión Federal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios), Civil Protection, and SEMARNAT (Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales).
+ **Project Management Expertise:** Demonstrated experience in managing projects related to expansions, process improvements, and maintenance activities.
