ABOUT CAE:At CAE, we're a global leader in aviation training, committed to safety, innovation, and excellence. Our CAE Aviation Training Centre in St Peters is a state-of-the-art facility, which features full flight simulators, cabin crew training mockups, and modern support facilities – all just minutes from the Sydney Airport. Further, you will also support our Perth facility, ensuring consistent EHS practices across both locations.
THE ROLE:We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HSE coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environment, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS). This hybrid role also includes light logistics coordination to support our technical operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HSE/ EHS career who is eager to grow in a dynamic, high-tech environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the implementation of CAE’s EHSMS in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standardsConduct and assist with EHS/HSE audits, inspections, and incident investigationsMonitor compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulationsAssist with the management of hazardous materials and substancesImplement EHS / WHS /HSE policies and procedures.Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindsetParticipate in EHS /HSE management reviews and improvement projectsProvide logistics and maintenance services for facilityTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE: A qualification in Health Safety and Environment, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related fieldProven experience in Health Safety & Environment, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) is required.Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards would be highly desirableStrong attention to detail and a proactive attitudeProficiency in Microsoft OfficeA passion for safety, sustainability and continuous improvementWHY JOIN CAE?Work in a word-class aviation training facilityBe a part of the global, innovative and inclusive teamAccess to professional development and training opportunitiesFree on-site parking and modern amenitiesCAE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
