Job Title: HSE Advisor - Submarines

Working Pattern: Full time

Working location: Raynesway (Derby)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HSE Advisor to join Rolls-Royce Submarines.

You will be reporting to an Operational HSE Manager and working towards ensuring world class HSE standards by using a risk-based approach to managing the risk from our operations and activities

What you will be doing:

With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:

Perform and record regular site tours/inspections ensuring acceptable standards and behaviours are performed.

Provide professional advice and guidance to various stakeholders.

contribute towards ensuring our HSE management systems are continually improved.

Identify trends and ensuring improvement plans in place are completed in full.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

Hold as minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent

Member of Professional Body e.g. IOSH/IIRSM etc desirable

Environmental experience and qualification desirable

Demonstrable experience as a HSE professional

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines, you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
