About Your Role:

UGL is seeking a HSE Advisor to join its Manufacturing and Maintenance – Transport business. This role involves supporting site operational teams across two locations (Bassendean Bayswater). The focus is on implementing effective HSE processes while fostering safety, rail safety, injury management, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement improvement initiatives.Advise and coach managers, supervisors, and workers to achieve compliance and best practices in:
WHS (Workplace Health Safety),Workers’ Compensation Injury Management,Rail Safetyand Environmental MattersConduct internal audits and facilitate external audits for HSE assurance and due diligence.Lead or review incident investigations (using ICAM methodology or similar).

About You:

You are an experienced HSE professional with relevant qualifications and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.

Skills and Experience:

Experience managing relationships with regulatory stakeholders.Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.Proven ability to build effective working relationships across various levels of an organization.Familiarity with high-risk industries like construction, infrastructure, or other related sectors.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.

Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Workplace Safety and Health (Diploma or above preferred).Incident investigation training (ICAM methodology preferred).Lead Auditor qualifications in AS4801 or equivalent (for audits and compliance assurance).
