Essential Responsibilities:
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of crane and lifting safety programsConduct hazard assessments, critical lift planning, and risk analysis for crane operationsProvide technical expertise to site teams regarding crane setup, load charts, rigging, signaling, and safe lifting practicesPerform site inspections, audits, and incident investigations specific to crane and lifting operationsDeliver training and toolbox talks to operators, riggers, and supervisors on crane safety requirementsEnsure compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety legislation, WorkSafe regulations, and CSA/ANSI standardsCollaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to drive a strong safety cultureTrack safety metrics, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to reduce riskQualifications:
CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent professional safety designation (or working toward one)Minimum 5 years of health & safety experience in the construction, heavy equipment, or crane industryIn-depth knowledge of crane operations, rigging practices, and applicable regulatory standardsExperience developing and delivering safety training programsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilities with a proven track record of influencing safe work practicesWork Conditions:
This is a site based positionCompensation
$68,800 to $94,600 annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
