Job Description HRIS Supervisor - HR Ops Systems (Hybrid) **This role is offered as hybrid in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be available to work in office at the Nordstrom corporate headquarters a minimum of 3 days/week to be considered for this position. Job Posting Description Nordstrom’s HR Ops Systems team is dedicated to maintaining, enhancing and implementing critical HR technologies to streamline processes, support business success and improve employee experiences for all touchpoints throughout the employee lifecycle. This role will manage a team of System Analysts, primarily focused on system testing, production support and ongoing system operations. By continuously improving systems, prompt issue resolutions, and managing a skilled team, your role will be building a high-performing HR team that adapts to Nordstrom’s evolving workforce and operational needs. Your expertise will enhance efficiency, ensure accuracy, and drive innovation across HR systems, delivering a streamlined and optimized experience for employees and business partners. A day in the life… + Provide strong leadership by guiding, training, and mentoring HR systems analysts and administrators to cultivate a high-performing, efficient team. + Support the HR Operations Systems Manager in driving strategies and initiatives that enhance HR systems and processes. + Oversee HR system operations to ensure accurate data processing, smooth integration with downstream systems, and successful mass data uploads. + Manage system updates, testing, and issue resolution to maintain seamless HR workflows and minimize disruptions. + Ensure team performance meets service level agreements through proactive monitoring and performance feedback. + Maintain and configure Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking. + Conduct audits and validations to uphold data integrity and compliance standards. + Monitor case resolution metrics, escalating issues as needed to sustain high-quality service delivery. + Collaborate with HR teams to enhance employee self-service tools and develop knowledge base resources. + Facilitate alignment and communication between the HR systems team and HR leadership to support organizational goals. + Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, ensuring efficient execution of projects. You own this if you have… + 2+ years of experience in HRIS or HR systems roles, with supervisory expertise. + Skilled in managing and mentoring a team of 4+ analysts + A track record of leading teams, prioritizing tasks, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. + Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD, Now Assist, Paradox, or similar HR technologies that involve data management and workflows. + Experience utilizing JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Suite and other business tools. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Collaborative leadership style aligned with strategic HR and operational goals #LI-Hybrid We’ve got you covered… Our employees are our most important asset and that’s reflected in our benefits. Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
