Our aerospace client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HRIS Specialist (Contract) to join our client´s HR Service Delivery team in Herndon, VA
Job DescriptionMaintain and enhance existing HR systems, including system configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and supportCollaborate with HR, IM/IT, Finance, and Data Privacy teams to develop, test, and implement integrated workflows and automation solutionsMonitor system performance, gather user feedback, and identify opportunities for optimizationEnsure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal data security and privacy policiesSupport the upcoming Workday implementation, contributing to configuration, data migration, and testingAssist with the creation and maintenance of process documentation, HR reports, and data analytics dashboardsProvide ongoing technical support and training to HR system users across North AmericaPrioritize and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines while maintaining high attention to detailPartner with business units to understand their needs and translate them into system enhancements or process improvementsQualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field required
Experience:
5+ years supporting HRIS/HCM and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, ADP Vantage, WorkforceNow)Experience with Workday HCM Suite or Dayforce highly preferredAt least 2 years in a customer service, HR support, or administrative roleDemonstrated experience in system implementation, testing, and user supportKey Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of HR systems and data workflowsProficient in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving user requestsExcellent project coordination and time management skillsAbility to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and complianceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with U.S. employment laws and HR data privacy regulationsWork Environment & Conditions:
