The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is looking for an innovative and detail-oriented HRIS Manager to lead our human resources information system (HRIS) operations. In this critical role, you’ll bridge the gap between HR operations and system functionality, leveraging your strong technical aptitude and deep understanding of HR business processes to deliver efficient, user-friendly solutions that drive data integrity, compliance, and process excellence. As the HRIS Manager, you will be the subject matter expert on the HR set-up within the Banner ERP system and serve as a resource for college HR end users across the system. The person in this role directs projects and implementations associated with functional HR applications. You will lead initiatives with HR offices across CCCS to ensure system infrastructure is effectively meeting business needs, create and maintain user documentation and guidelines, and train end users on system functionality. The HRIS Manger is responsible for ensuring overall HR data integrity and maintaining consistency in setup across the system. This includes working with end users at our 13 community colleges and the System Office, reviewing reports for data errors and consistency, and troubleshooting complex HR processing issues. This role supervises one HRIS Specialist. Duties Include: + Collaborate with HR leaders on changing business needs and identify and implement strategies for streamlining system operations and processes to address changing needs. + Stay apprised of new or revised regulations to determine best options for implementing available Banner processes to remain compliant. + Stay apprised of payroll set-up and changes that impact HR processing and work collaboratively with payroll subject matter experts in updating Banner, testing and training efforts. + Direct Banner HR functional setup, table maintenance, and year-end processing (calendar and fiscal). + Coordinate with HR IT Project Manager (PM) on understanding Banner ERP changes and updates in order to identify and implement new system functionality that supports increased or needed efficiencies. Work with the PM on user acceptance testing, coordinating end user testers as needed and providing approval for moving changes to the production environment. + Work with HRIS Specialist to conduct quality assurance checks to support accurate data and payroll processing, checking for potential impacts of open enrollment changes, system applied salary increases, and other changes affecting employee earnings and deductions. Work closely with HR offices to correct errors or discrepancies that could result in over/under payments to employees or errors in state and federal reporting. + Support integrations with 3rdparty systems, for example feeds to and from benefit platforms, including testing, scheduling and implementing feeds and supporting new system functionality to increase efficiency. + Support the CHRO and other stakeholders in generating and disseminating reports to support business decision making and reporting requirements. + Conduct training for new Banner HR users and develop advanced training tools for end users where trending issues are identified. + Represent human resources on committees where system subject matter expertise and knowledge of business operations is a value add. Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience to substitute for the degree. + Three years of professional experience working with an HRIS system and demonstrated knowledge of HR business operations. Work Location/Travel Expectations: + This position is located at 9101 E Lowry Blvd., Denver, CO 80230. + Occasional in person attendance at meetings will be required; travel to the Denver office will not be reimbursed. + Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, trainings, and conferences or to visit colleges within the State of Colorado. + Alternative work arrangements, including flexible schedules and remote work may be available. All work must be completed in the state of Colorado.
