HRIS Analyst 

(this position is hybrid working 2 days a week in current location of Denton Texas and new location (mid fall) of Plano (Legacy West)

Essential Function

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the effective management and optimization of the organization's HR information systems. This role involves ensuring that HR data is accurate, accessible, and secure, and that the system is configured to support HR processes, reporting, and compliance requirements. The HRIS Analyst works closely with HR, IT, and other partners both internal and external to implement system updates, troubleshoot issues, and provide training and support to end-users

Primary Duties

20% System Maintenance and Support: Manage and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity, system security, and user accessibility. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, configuration, and functionality. Coordinate with IT and HR and other partners both internal and external to implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.20% Data Management and Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of HR data within the system. Develop, generate, and analyze standard and ad-hoc reports to support HR decision-making. Conduct data audits and implement data correction processes as needed.20% System Configuration and Optimization: Configure and customize the HRIS to meet organizational needs and improve HR processes. Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows through system automation and process improvements. Collaborate with HR and other departments to gather requirements for system enhancements.10% User Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to HRIS users, including HR staff and managers. Develop and update user guides, training materials, and FAQs. Assist users with system navigation, report generation, and data entry tasks.10% Compliance and Security: Ensure that the HRIS complies with relevant data protection laws and company policies. Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive employee data. Support HR audits and compliance reporting by providing necessary data and documentation.15% Project Management: Lead or support HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, migrations, and integrations. Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with HR, IT, and external vendors. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

5% Other tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combinations of education/experience

EXPERIENCE: 2 - 4 years of Human Resources / Compensation/Benefits, Payroll and/or HRIS experience

SKILLS: 

Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud and strong OTBI preferredExperience with Ad-hoc reporting

Advanced technical knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365.

Physical Demands

This is a hybrid position, with a combination of remote work and a minimum of 2 days a week in office.The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, cooled and ventilated.
