The Human Resources Specialist provides HR support to the Mexico organization by acting as a partner on matters related to the people management agenda. Will be the main point of contact for associates and managers within the country and will proactively support the delivery of HR processes and services. In this role, will provide well-rounded HR support while focusing on key talent initiatives that aid the organization in achieving business objectives in our fast-paced, high growth environment.
Responsibilities:
Serve as an advisor and counsel to Senior Management needed for decision-making and effective management of staff relations, as well as coaching other members of the local management team to help them achieve business goals through effective human resource strategies and practices. Lead HR processes, initiatives and day to day activities. Partner with business leaders on planning and implementing reorganizations, and culture/change initiatives. Focus on developing a strong position that facilitates open communication with leadership, advancement of the associate value proposition and educates associates on how they contribute to enterprise-wide goals. Advises with clients on internal movement decisions; transfers, promotions, job enhancements and ensures decisions are in line with talent and skill gaps, development plans and career pathing. Ensures that all movement aligns with company leveling guides and policy. Partners with client group to effectively acquire professional, management and leadership level talent for assigned client group. Develops detailed onboarding plans for new leaders.Partners with the people leaders to manage associate conflicts and performance issues, implementing proper strategies and action plans. Drives innovation and improvement in human resources as well as in the client group Ensure compliance with local labor and employment laws, remain current on updates and changes in laws which may impact the company through labor lawyers, professional associations, etc. Make sure the company maintains related manuals and procedures updated and associates are properly trained. Comply with all corporate and local policies including the ethics & compliance program. Assure employee data and records are accurately maintained. Consult with and advise business managers on investigations and disciplinary process regarding employee relations and performance related issues.This position is part of the Latin America Organization and will be located in Mexico City, DF, work mode On-Site (present at the office 5 days per week). The essential requirements of the job include:
BA/BS Degree and 9 years of HR experience. Or Masters Degree with 7 years experience.Fluency in Spanish, English, written and spoken; comprehensive understanding of employment laws, trends and the ability to benchmark & network.Thorough and deep knowledge of the employee life cycle; highly effective communicator with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships at all levelsProven track record of delivering high performance through consulting & coaching, with experience working directly with senior leaders; highly effective at handling complex employee relations issuesAt Beckman Coulter Diagnostics we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
