**This position requires an employee to be onsite at Vadnais Heights** **Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.**

+ Only candidates residing in Minnesota or a state bordering Minnesota (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) within 50 miles of the work address listed above are eligible for telework.

Direct Care &Treatment (DCT) has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a HR Transactions Lead! As the HR Transaction Lead, you will provide professional HR guidance and consultation in the areas of personnel transactions, personnel issues, and organization analysis.
Other duties may include:
+ Provide on-the-job training and orientation to new transactions staff
+ Mentor transactions staff, while assisting with individual professional growth assessment and opportunities
+ Serve as inter agency transaction liaison with MMB and other state agencies
+ Conduct compliance audits on transaction to ensure legal and procedural requirements are met
+ Process and update transactions in SEMA4
+ Work closely with payroll in regarding employee related transactions
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 2 years of experience working in Human Resources for the State of Minnesota. Experience must include:
+ Understanding of HR transactions (e.g. employee hires, salary increases, probationary period end dates, leaves of absences, separations, etc.)
+ Expert knowledge of SEMA4
+ Ability to consistently produce accurate and quality documents
+ Knowledge of HR processes and state and federal employment laws, rules, and regulations
+ Thorough understanding of the state of Minnesota collective bargaining agreements and plans.
+ Ability to apply employment contract language, personnel rules, policies, and procedures as it pertains to employee benefits, transactions, and/or payroll.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills sufficient to ensure policies, bargaining agreements, personnel plans, processes, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations are followed accurately and consistently.

+ Critical thinking and problem-solving skills sufficient to analyze and evaluate complex information, research and evaluate alternatives, independently make sound decisions, resolve conflicts and provide guidance on a variety of HR issues.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Communication skills sufficient to explain sensitive, controversial and confidential information to employees, management and staff in a clear and concise manner, while adhering to data privacy laws and requirements.
+ Ability to adapt to change, lead change, and be resilient in a potentially ambiguous environment.
