Job Description
This position is part of the central HR Shared Services department, focused on supporting workforce administration processes such as transfers, salary changes, promotions, and terminations. The role delivers timely, accurate, and responsive services to employees and managers, aiding in transaction processing, updating employee records, auditing data, handling HR forms, and other HR-related processes. As a subject matter expert, the Transaction Specialist manages Internal Service Requests, Employment Actions, Organizational Management Tools, Employee Self Service, and PA/OM functions of SAP and associated workflows.
ResponsibilitiesProvide timely, accurate, and responsive services for Shared Services transactions, ensuring data and processing accuracy.Process a high volume of HR transactions using standard operating procedures and guidelines, including hiring, personnel changes, and reclassifications.Maintain regular payroll system input by processing employee lifecycle transactions such as personal data, terminations, and benefits data.Perform data entry quality control procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of HR transactions in compliance with policies and regulations.Handle HR Operational processes including HR transactions, employee records, HR forms, and general HR policy information.Resolve inquiries and concerns in accordance with HR Shared Services team SLAs while providing exceptional customer service.Conduct audits of HR transactions to ensure accuracy and conformance with established procedures.Resolve audits of HR and Benefit data, collaborating with HR contacts and internal customers to address data integrity issues.Maintain confidentiality of all data and compliance with state and federal laws.Ensure compliance with HR recordkeeping regulations and best practices.Escalate unique situations or challenges to supervisors or senior team members for further assistance.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHuman resourcesAdministrative supportCustomer serviceHR administrationHR supportHR systemsERP - SAP or WorkdayData entryAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or graduation equivalent.Two years’ experience in a call center or HR environment.Associates degree in HR, Business, or Information Systems preferred.ERP experience, preferably with SAP or Workday.Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.Work Environment
The role requires working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a requirement to be in office two days a week, including every Tuesday.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
