Job Description

The HR Systems Administrator supports the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of Indigo’s HR system (UKG). This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, assisting with system updates, and providing user support. Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards & HR Technology, the incumbent helps maintain system integrity and supports HR, Payroll, and other functional teams with reporting, troubleshooting, and system enhancements. The role also plays a key part in identifying opportunities for system optimization by gathering feedback from stakeholders, recommending improvements, and leading implementation efforts.

Functional

Administer, maintain and troubleshoot the HR system (UKG) and associated integrations on a day-to-day basisRespond to user inquiries and provide first-level support for system-related issuesAssist with testing and implementation of system updates and new featuresMaintain documentation for system processes and user guidesSupport data integrity through regular audits and validation checksGenerate standard reports and assist with ad hoc reporting requestsCollaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely data flowEscalate complex issues to senior team members or external support as neededSolicit feedback from HR partners and business users on reporting and system functionalityAnalyze feedback and make recommendations for system optimization and reporting enhancementsDevelop roadmaps for approved improvements and lead their implementationSupport the implementation and administration of new system modules, job grades, and integrations

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience

1–2 years of experience in HR systems administration, preferably with UKGFamiliarity with HR data and reporting tools; experience with Cognos or similar tools is an assetBasic understanding of HR processes and data privacy best practicesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPost-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Competencies / Skills / Attributes

Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasksClear and professional communication skillsAnalytical mindset with a focus on accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelCustomer-focused approach with a willingness to learn and grow
