Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd. In Malaysia, Bosch is active in four business sectors: Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing sites and research and development offices in Penang, producing automotive electronics, power tools and steering systems, and soon a fourth plant with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors. PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job DescriptionAdminister and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring candidates and offer management:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs (workforce planning) and provide guidance on job descriptions and candidate profiles.
Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, and professional networks to source candidates.
Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Key stakeholder management – ensure solid cadence of communications and provide a high touch level of partnership with hiring managers, C/HRR, ME/HRG and other related stakeholders.
Maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
New hire onboarding coordination including driving the respective HR briefing session as required. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment/onboarding process which also include the required administration of any related payment/ compensation/ benefits as per offered contract and related new organizational structure related to hiring.
Build relationships with local universities (university collaboration) for branding, to increase the profile of PgP5 as an employer of choice and creation of talent pipeline.
Track and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
HR policy and compliance: Responsible for HR policy/SOP/guideline for TA related topic. This includes internship administration and management.
Leading/ participating in HR-related projects and programs to enhance HR processes and overall organization performance.
